Terms of Service | Lonovoice

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service (hereinafter "Terms") define the conditions for accessing and using the Lonovoice service, published by LONOGIC (SAS with share capital of €2,500, registered in Paris under RCS 981 963 424, registered office: 60 Rue François 1er, 75008 Paris, France), available at app.lonovoice.com (hereinafter the "Service").

Lonovoice is a Text-to-Speech service that converts text into audio files using artificial intelligence (Google's Gemini AI).

By creating an account or using the Service, the user unreservedly accepts these Terms. The conditions of sale of paid subscriptions are detailed in our Terms of Sale.

2. Access to the Service

Use of the Service requires the creation of a personal account. The user must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to subscribe to the Service.

The user agrees to provide accurate information and to keep their credentials confidential. The user is solely responsible for the use made of their account.

Lonovoice reserves the right to suspend or delete any account used fraudulently or in violation of these Terms.

3. Description of the Service

The Service allows users to:

Submit text to be converted into synthetic speech
Choose from various available voices and languages
Download and manage the generated audio files
Listen to a preview of the available voices

Features and usage quotas vary depending on the subscription plan selected.

4. Subscriptions and pricing

Lonovoice offers a Free plan as well as several paid subscription plans, whose characteristics and prices are detailed on the Pricing page. The complete sale, billing and cancellation conditions for paid plans are set out in our Terms of Sale.

4 bis. Free plan — specific conditions

The Free plan is provided free of charge, with no credit card required, exclusively for personal, non-commercial evaluation of the Service. It is subject to the following limitations:

monthly quota of 2,000 characters;
maximum of 500 characters per generation;
maximum of 10 generations per 24 hours;
3 pre-selected voices (FR + EN) only;
no MP3 download — online preview only;
no commercial license on generated audios;
vocal watermark ("Generated with Lonovoice") automatically added at the end of every audio. Any attempt to remove or circumvent this watermark constitutes a breach of these Terms and will result in immediate suspension of the account;
audio file retention limited to 24 hours, after which they are permanently and automatically purged with no possibility of recovery;
limited to one (1) Free account per user. Creating multiple accounts or using techniques to bypass the quotas (proxies, disposable emails, automated scripts, etc.) will result in immediate suspension of all accounts involved.

Lonovoice reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Free plan at any time, without notice or compensation. To benefit from MP3 download, all voices, all languages, the commercial license and the removal of the watermark, the user must subscribe to a paid plan.

5. Account termination

The user may delete their account at any time from their personal area. The cancellation conditions for paid subscriptions are detailed in our Terms of Sale.

Lonovoice reserves the right to terminate or suspend a user's access in the event of:

Violation of these Terms
Abusive or fraudulent use of the Service
Non-payment of the subscription
Generation of illegal content via the Service

6. Intellectual property and generated content

The Lonovoice platform, its source code, design and content are the exclusive property of LONOGIC.

User-generated content: audio files generated from the text submitted by the user are the exclusive property of the user, who holds all exploitation rights over these files, including for commercial purposes, without limitation of duration, territory or number of broadcasts, and without any additional royalty.

The user warrants that they hold the necessary rights to the text submitted to the Service and remains solely responsible for the content they generate and the use they make of it.

7. Acceptable use

The user agrees not to use the Service to:

Generate illegal, defamatory, hateful content or content that infringes third-party rights
Impersonate a third party or create misleading voice "deepfakes"
Carry out spam, phishing or social engineering operations
Attempt to circumvent the technical limitations or quotas of the Service
Resell access to the Service or use it to provide a competing service
Intentionally overload the Service infrastructure

8. Availability of the Service

Lonovoice strives to ensure the availability of the Service 24/7. However, the publisher does not guarantee uninterrupted availability and cannot be held liable for interruptions due to maintenance operations, technical failures or events of force majeure.

9. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". The publisher does not warrant that the Service will meet all of the user's expectations.

In no event shall the publisher's liability exceed the total amount paid by the user during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to liability.

The publisher is not responsible for content generated by users via the Service.

10. Personal data

The processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to the Terms

The publisher reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified by email of substantial changes at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties shall endeavour to find an amicable solution. Failing that, the competent courts of the publisher's registered office shall have sole jurisdiction.
